Our paprika is a labor of love. It takes a lot of work to get the desired result. The fresh pods are picked at the peak of ripening in Spain, de-stemmed, carefully slow dried and then sent to us. I use the same Kiawe wood I use when smoking the Ghost and Habanero peppers for our Hamajang. The smoking process is a very low and slow cold smoking in my custom offset chili pepper smoker. I designed the smoker and had it custom built. Once the pods are done smoking, we unload and grind everything fresh in small batches and pack in an air tight spice bottle for your enjoyment.

Why did we decide to offer this? I could never find smoked paprika with the right amount of smoke. I had to use so much of the other brands to get any flavor out of it. With our paprika, a little will go a long way, it’s PACKED WITH FLAVOR.

Description

SERVING SUGGESTIONS:

  • Sprinkle on a bagel over your cream cheese
  • Mix with salt for rimming cocktails like Bloody Marys or Margaritas
  • Finish a grilled pork chop and it’ll taste as if you smoked it beforehand
  • Sprinkle on your fried eggs just as you’re about to remove them from the pan
  • Sprinkle on hot fried chicken
  • Use in a rub for your brisket
  • Sprinkle over roasted veggies for a deeper roasted, smoky flavor
  • Add to a pizza fresh out of the oven

      Right On! Glad you’re enjoying it. I love on a toasted bagel with butter and cream cheese, eggs, in soups, grilled steak and chicken, fried pork chops, roasted vegetables, deviled eggs… very versatile
